Principal’s Comment

When I stepped into Rangitīkei College as Principal at the beginning of Term 2, 2025, I immediately knew I had made a wonderful decision.

Rangitīkei College (RC) is a beautiful school, filled with manaakitanga and aroha. It’s a place rich with opportunities – where you can truly realise your passions and dreams with an educational experience tailored just for you. Here, you’ll be wonderfully challenged and supported to achieve your goals, and it’s a place where you’ll always feel cared for, respected, and a true part of our community.

As a small school, Rangitīkei College ensures that everyone has a chance to shine. We are truly a school on the move, and we take great pride in delivering on our high expectations. We offer a diverse range of programmes for our students – whether you aspire to be a builder (we can help you build a whole house!), a musician (our band welcomes you!), a lawyer (join us at SCHoGM!), or a sports enthusiast (check out our field, our courts and our pool!) we can guide you on virtually any path you wish to explore.

Students consistently choose us because they are treated with genuine respect. Here, everyone
knows one another and looks out for each other. Our students discover they can achieve anything they set their minds to, and we celebrate success in its many forms. We invite you to join us and discover for yourself how we open up opportunities and inspire brighter futures and lives.

Finally, I want to assure you that when you choose to join us, no matter your potential or what has happened before, we will be there for you every step of the way. One of my core beliefs is that schools don’t simply enrol students; we enrol whānau. Parents and caregivers are always welcome in our school, and I truly enjoy meeting with you and taking a personal interest in your journey.

Come and discover the Rangitīkei College difference – where every student and every whānau shines!
