Whats NCEA? NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement) can be hard to get your head around – so do check out these websites for some easy to follow summaries:
How to understand NCEA
* Here you’ll find videos explaining NCEA in English, te Reo Māori, Cook Island Māori, Niuean, Samoan, Tongan and New Zealand Sign Language.
*This site also includes a link to an info app for parents called ‘NCEA Guide’.
Your choice of subjects is not limited by our school’s size or location. Our high-tech video conference learning hub means you can study almost any subject on offer in New Zealand - simply by connecting with others in a virtual learning environment.
Currently students are studying subjects such as Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, Psychology and Samoan, but any subject is available.
You will need to have a good work ethic and the endorsement of the Dean. There will be online assignments where work is set on the internet, video conferencing sessions and workbooks to be completed.
