Rangitikei College senior students had the opportunity to learn more about their possible future careers following a Careers Expo organised by College Careers Advisor Claire Mulcahy and senior Dean Charles Duncan. Mrs Mulcahy said the afternoon was really successful and that she was pleased to see students taking advantage of the opportunity to gather some information about their futures.
The day is an important part of the ongoing careers planning offered to students at the College. The Year 12 and 13 students had the opportunity to learn more about career options from local and national business and tertiary industries. They also heard more about recent University entrance requirements, apprenticeships and about preparing for interviews. The event is an important part in giving direction and support to those who are still unsure of their future careers and in cementing futures plans for others.
